"For as far back as I can remember, the line between fantasy and reality has been hopelessly blurred" Roman Polanski

Fearless Vampire Killers

May 8, 2006

My Polanski marathon goes on. Today I finally picked up a copy pf Rosemary’s baby, and booked Polanski’s “The Tragedy of MacBeth“.

The last film I watched was The Fearless Vampire Killers. Starring Roman and Jack MacGowran, as well as a young actress by the name of Sharon Tate.

The film was written by Polanski and Gerard Brach as a spoof take on the old Hollywood Vampire genre.

A lot of people think this is Polanski’s weakest film, however I really enjoyed it. I haven’t yet seen a really weak Polanski film, s far he seems to be going from strength to strength.

Just so you know, every Polanski film I have seen I have seen in chronological order. I started with his short films and am now up to Rosemary’s Baby.

I love how Polanski goes from different genre to genre. I would love to do that.

next, Rosemary’s Baby.
